All thanks to Nintendo’s swift action. Sony could learn a few lessons from this for their PS Vita.
Portable gaming was never in danger of being eclipsed by smartphones and mobile games. As long as the games catalogue on offer was good, supported by first-party and third-party developers, the 3DS would be assured of success and popularity.
I hope to see more dual-screen devices in the future. Games that make full use of two displays, especially the adventure-game genre, benefit immensely from having more than one screen.
