I noticed in the past few months that my blog posts — actual posts and not reshared content — has dropped considerably. I believe this is the atypical “writer’s block” that plagues so many writers. When you have nothing good to say or write about, you really have nothing. I’d rather post nothing than write something pointless, uneducational, and unnecessary.
One thing that I have always wanted to do is to write reviews of my endlessly growing pile of retro DVD cartoons from the 1980s and 1990s. The problem is that I need to watch the shows before I can write something credible, and unfortunately that takes up a lot of time. Hopefully I can reach a compromise and split those review posts up into different parts.
Another content angle that I am interested in pursuing are scanlations of my ever growing pile (again) of Japanese magazines. Just short, snappy translations of interesting articles or pages, similar to what Kantopia is doing on their blog. I am not that good with image-editing software, and I am absolutely terrified of damaging my magazines when I scan them so… we’ll see how that goes.
In other news I tried eating french fries again for the first time in nine months since I turned vegetarian. I promptly had a stomachache three hours later and had to expel my bowels in a public toilet. So yeah… I love potatoes but the fried ones are bad for me. Very bad.
