An interesting essay where the author tries to explain why there is a lack of quality, world-class Asian goalkeepers (GKs) in football. The author believes that this is due to a lack of dedicated GK coaches in Asia, and interestingly, a lack of quality attackers in the same team. When a GK has strong attackers on his side, he will feel less nervous when facing world-class strikers from an opposing team.
