  1. I’m a month late but the literal translation of that line is ‘you’re only correct about the correctness’ which can mean ‘That’s a sofism’ or ‘You’re only technically correct’

    Basically, Archer is right about his original desire and circumstances but that doesn’t mean that his end will be the same. That said, it is a very memetic phrase and I have abused it greatly and will continue to do so.

      I think the better translation would be, “Just because you believe in something, doesn’t mean that it’s the right path to take.”

      Oh please go ahead and make fun of the English translation as much as you want. Fans have been making fun of “People die if they are killed” for years from the 2006 anime.
