What an incredibly long day. Reported for work at 7.30am, then struggled with the CMS the entire day. Unable to get any efficient work done. At around 4.30pm, just when I was about to leave, a major problem propped up and I had to do my best to rectify it quickly. By the time I left the office it was already 6pm. No big deal, I had no work tomorrow and World of WarCraft was under maintenance tonight.
Went home and immediately worked on the GameStart 2014 article that I so desperately wanted to finish by today. Completed at about 11pm. Fatigued but refusing to let myself feel broken.
So to summarise, I basically the spent the majority of my Tuesday staring at monitor screens and writing. This is the writer’s life I suppose. We have to constantly practice our craft or we will lose our edge.
Listened to the remixed version of Kill la Kill‘s “Before my body is dry”, the one without the stupid rap track. And I instantly felt better, all the tiredness of the day being washed away.
The fastest and quickest way to insult me for life is to talk trash about my heroine and idol. No human being is perfect, but all of us are capable of overcoming anything if we don’t allow our minds to be easily led astray.
Thank you Ryuko Matoi. This is the way to be more strong.
