I take great amusement every time I hear girls say “he’s a nice guy”, and they are somehow attracted to that sort of person.
Anyone can appear to be a nice guy. If you tell the entire male population on Earth that all they need to attract a girlfriend is to be “a nice guy”, all of them will be attached by now. It’s very easy to put up appearances, or to pretend and deceive.
And to quote the lyrics from a Poets of the Fall song, “in other words, [it’s called] dishonesty”.
I can’t believe I am actually dispensing relationship advice on my blog (is this what my writing has devolved into?).
