It’s been an incredibly tiring past few months. Resumed a full-time job in early January, while juggling commitments to my Japanese studies (I passed JLPT4 in December, yay), trying to build up my Taichi foundations, and contributing to No Game No Talk.
My current schedule could be essentially described as “hell”. Night lessons for Japanese on Tuesdays, followed by Thursday-night lessons for Taichi. Friday is the usual arcade gathering with my gang of crazy maddos, Saturday is occupied with another Japanese lesson-day + catching up on homework. That only leaves Sundays as my one true rest day.
There are times where my mind and body are just simply unable to take it, and I am forced to request a non-paid off day from work. Working full-time and studying is really difficult. After my upcoming JLPT3 in July, I’ll revert back to once-a-week classes because I desperately need the break.
Time is really a precious resource to me these days, which explains why I haven’t been blogging much. I’ve got some interesting ideas for a few series of posts that I’ve been dying to write about for a long time, but never really found the time to sit down and draft them up. It’s about remembering old Saturday Morning cartoons, why they were awesome, and why we don’t see them on TV anymore.
Until the next post (hopefully it won’t take several months this time), back to the quiet grind of daily life. Still proud of being what I am, where I am now, and vindicating myself over the bullshit memories of the past.
